Dom Bolton is an independent film producer and founder of Firework Productions, a company dedicated to creating bold, thought-provoking stories. He began his career in 2016 after training in Stage Management at RADA. His debut film, Padlock (2017), directed by Ben S. Hyland, won multiple awards, including Best Thriller at the New Renaissance Film Festival and Best Film at the Bottle Smoke Film Festival. He also produced (A Very) Ham Fisted Stakeout in 2017.

Dom produced Home By 8.30 (2020), a BFI Network-funded short directed by Perry White, and co-produced Duette (2020), the debut film by Melissa Elena Reiner, alongside Sienna Beckman of Emergence Films. Both films gained recognition on the festival circuit.

His 2022 film Taylor, directed by Isaac Tomiczek and written by Annie Rowe, tells the story of a bullied teenager finding empowerment through boxing. It won Best Performer awards for Bobby Stallwood and Dudley O'Shaughnessey at Brighton Rocks and Best LGBTQ at London Rocks, among others.

Dom’s latest project, Chasing Adonis, written by and starring Micky David, alongside Eliza Butterworth and Danny Mahoney, delves into themes of body image, self-worth, and mental health. Directed by Tom Gordon, the film follows the protagonist’s journey as he grapples with societal expectations and internal struggles while pursuing his dreams in a world that often values appearance over substance. Chasing Adonis is poised to make its mark on the festival circuit, offering a powerful narrative and strong performances that highlight both personal and universal experiences.

A dedicated volunteer with the British Red Cross for nearly 20 years, Dom has contributed across a range of humanitarian sectors. He was instrumental in developing the SafeMates programme, providing mental health support at music festivals, and has held operational roles at major events such as Reading and Download Festivals. Dom also serves on the board of Scratch Rock Records, where he previously managed flagship band Brain Ape, overseeing their resurgence in 2018.

Dom is a versatile producer with a broad range of experience across film, theatre, and humanitarian work. From his award-winning projects like Padlock and Taylor to his advocacy for mental health and underrepresented voices, he remains committed to creating impactful, socially conscious art and championing human rights.
